About Blue Spruce Audio Studio
Blue Spruce Audio Studio is a mixed-use rehearsal, recording, mixing, and production studio space founded in Long Island City by Miles Blue Spruce.
Miles is a producer, audio engineer, multi-instrumentalist, and songwriter with a passion for the small, independent music scene in New York City. He has been making music since 2001 and learned his way around a recording studio at The Sonic Arts Center at CCNY. He has been working with clients of all musical persuasions since 2014, getting involved with everything from hard rock, metal, and pop to hip hop, jazz, and R&B.
In 2021, he decided he finally wanted to establish a studio space of his very own to help nurture and produce bands and solo artists that might otherwise not have the means or knowledge to record their work themselves. Blue Spruce Audio Studio was conceived from the idea of making great music at a more musician-friendly price with an extra personal touch.

Rehearsal
Looking for a convenient, sound-proof space to practice solo or with your band or group? Look no further! Our live room is perfectly equipped for acts of most sizes to work on writing or refining material.

Are you ready to memorialize your material in the form of an almighty WAV or MP3? With our acoustically-treated space, wide assortment of pro-audio microphones and preamps, and extensive recording knowledge, let us help you get there!
Mixing/Production
Do you need help making your song sound exactly the way you want it to sound, or just searching for a second opinion? Miles’ twelve years of experience with mixing and producing music of all flavors will get your mix to the next level. If your music was recorded here, the process can be even smoother. Education/Teaching
Want to learn more about music? We offer instruction on a wide variety of topics, including songwriting, composition, arrangement, recording techniques, mixing techniques, and much more! Become more of a master at your own craft with our one-on-one personalized classes.

Please note that due to the time needed for setup-breakdown, all sessions end 15 minutes before the hour. Recording sessions must be booked for a minimum of two hours.
